“Path to Prosperity” at Prospero Wealth: A self-paced program for tech workers looking to become financial advisors

Today we’re announcing a program—the “Path to Prosperity”—aimed at helping tech workers build financial advisory practices on their own time frames — even, in some cases, while continuing work in a technical field. We want all tech workers to have the opportunity to experience careers with higher job satisfaction, take control of their calendars, improve their quality of life, and to give back by becoming fiduciary advisors within their personal communities.

Prospero Wealth has been built from the ground up by tech workers helping tech workers. The education and industry background we share has enabled us to understand and build rapport, as well as a unique product offering, specifically tailored to our clientele. We see a unique opportunity to bring technical expertise, product thinking, and scaling practices to the financial and wealth management profession.

We believe the future of financial advice for people in the tech industry will come from technical advisors offering best-in-class service and curated products. While we are still very early in our journey, we believe that adding more builders will only accelerate the realization of this vision.

The “Path to Prosperity” program will provide selected individuals with the mentorship, tools, and oversight required to ease the transition to a new career, all while allowing them to do so on their own timetables. Advisors selected to the program will be registered with Prospero Wealth, mentored through initial financial planning engagements, and assisted with all aspects of providing premium client service and wealth management. As specific internal milestones are met, Prospero Wealth will pay educational expenses related to the pursuit of a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation(s). Advisors who actively push us and meaningfully contribute to the company will be offered ownership in the company as a whole.

Come help build the future of bespoke financial advice for tech workers.

We have a lot more details on this program available upon request. Please reach out to Eric Franklin for a quick conversation if interested.
