InvestmentNews's Leo Almazora reached out to a few advisors (including yours truly) to discuss what investment advisory businesses should take away from Anthropic's Claude recent code leak.
I have been to enough advisory conferences to see a lot of very unqualified people on stages talking about AI and how they are implementing it in their practices.
Frankly, a lot of what I have heard is either boring platitudes or scary as hell.
I like that this piece lands in the middle.
You can believe in AI as a transformative technology, while also being a responsible business owner who assesses and navigates the risks associated with being a steward of your clients' PII.
It's not sexy to plan for this stuff, but it is our responsibility.
