Growing in 2023: Welcome our new advisor, Suhas Joshi!

I’m very excited to announce that Prospero Wealth is growing in 2023 and that we’re kicking off a year of transformational change by adding our second full-time advisor, Suhas Joshi.
Suhas is a great fit for what we’re building at Prospero Wealth, with a background that is perfectly aligned with the clients we serve. Much like myself, Suhas is coming to financial planning and advising after decades of experience working in big tech, most recently at Stripe as an engineering manager, but previously at Facebook (before it was “Meta”), and Microsoft. Marcus and I both hail from the liberal arts; Marcus with a degree in History, and I with a Literature degree. Suhas, on the other hand, has a real engineering pedigree behind him. He went to undergrad at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology and later received his masters in Computer Science from UCLA.
As Suhas comes up to speed at Prospero Wealth, I am especially optimistic about how we might be able to apply some of that engineering background to integrations and automations that will improve our service while also increasing our product offering and reducing the monotonous compliance and documentation work that comes with being in this regulated industry.
For our existing clients, you shouldn’t notice much change, at least not right away, and never on the negative side. No existing clients will change advisors as a result of this addition. In true Prospero Wealth fashion, Suhas will be working with his own clients while doing a fair bit of sweat equity behind the scenes to build out and scale our services for the practice as a whole.
To that end, those of you who know Suhas already are aware that he loves the entire universe of personal finance and investing. He loves figuring out how to get increased tax leverage, discovering the best low-cost financial products, and helping others figure it all out. We’d greatly appreciate you getting the word out about Suhas’s change of career and setting up some time to chat with him about why he’s working with us at Prospero Wealth.
